Corgi Puppy Prices and How to Determine Purity

Corgi puppies typically cost upwards of 2000 RMB. Puppies with excellent conformation and pure lineage will command even higher prices. The cost of a Corgi is closely tied to its overall quality and pedigree. A purebred Corgi puppy will generally be priced at 2000 RMB or more. Those with good physical condition may range from 2000 to 3500 RMB. Furthermore, Corgis with superior physical traits, or show quality corgis, will command a higher price, usually over 3500 RMB, often exceeding 5000 RMB.

How to Determine if a Corgi is Purebred

1. Look at the Legs: Corgis are known for their short legs. Purebred Corgis should generally have leg lengths that don't exceed 10 cm.

2. Examine the Eyes: A purebred Corgi should have dark, primarily black eyes, with clear whites and pupils, giving them a cute, clear-eyed appearance.

3. Check the Ears: Purebred Corgi ears should gradually taper to rounded tips, forming an equilateral triangle shape. A straight line should run from the nose tip, past the eye to the ear tip.

4. Observe the Tail: Corgis are typically either docked or have very short tails. Undocked Corgi tails should be in line with their back, hanging naturally without curling over the back. When active, the tail may be raised to be parallel with the backline; during rest, it hangs down.

5. Assess Body Size: Corgis are a low-set breed, typically measuring 25-31cm in body height with a level back, and a sturdy build.

The price of a Corgi puppy, as stated, varies based on several factors, including the puppy’s physical attributes and its pedigree. When purchasing a Corgi, always verify the breeder’s credibility and ask questions about the lineage of the puppy. Looking for the key physical traits mentioned will aid in determining if the corgi puppy is a purebred corgi. The legs of purebred corgis are typically under 10cm in length. The eyes are dark and clear, ears form an equilateral triangle, and the tail will be either docked or in line with their back.Free access here:Pet Grooming
