Do Lizards Obey and Recognize Their Owners After Being Raised for a Long Time?

Lizards do not obey commands; they are cold-blooded animals and lack the cognitive ability to do so. They also don't recognize their owners in the way a dog or cat would. However, if an owner spends a lot of time with a lizard and consistently feeds it, the lizard may develop a conditioned response. It might approach the owner when they come near because it associates their presence with food. Lizards can be kept as pets, and many species are popular, such as Leopard Geckos, Frog-Eyed Geckos, Green Iguanas, and Blue-Tongued Skinks. They are relatively quiet and easy to care for, often simpler to feed than cats or dogs. However, as cold-blooded animals, lizards do not form bonds with their owners. Most reptiles, including crocodiles, geckos, turtles, and fish, don't recognize their owners.
