Is It Okay to Rehome a 20-Day-Old Corgi Puppy?

It's generally not recommended to rehome a 20-day-old Corgi puppy. At this very young age, the puppy is still completely dependent on its mother's milk and is incredibly vulnerable. Separating them from their mother too early can lead to a weakened immune system and increase the risk of illness. It's best to wait until the puppy is around six weeks old before considering rehoming. A 20-day-old Corgi puppy is simply too young for rehoming. At this stage, they are still in the weaning process and are not yet fully transitioned to solid food. A sudden change in environment can trigger a stress response in such young puppies. Their ability to self-regulate is still developing, and their immune system is not strong enough to fight off potential infections. It's highly recommended to wait until the puppy is at least six weeks (around one and a half months) old.
