Diet Guide for 2-Month-Old Persian Kittens

A 2-month-old Persian kitten's diet should primarily consist of goat's milk formula, supplemented with easily digestible foods like fish porridge, minced meat porridge, and millet porridge. Once their teeth have developed further, you can introduce softened kitten-specific kibble soaked in goat's milk. This approach provides a balanced diet tailored to their developmental stage.

At two months, Persian kittens have delicate digestive systems. It's crucial to feed them a specialized goat's milk formula designed for kittens. This provides the necessary energy and nutrients for healthy development. We recommend using MyDoctorPet's goat milk formula, which has been scientifically formulated for both cats and dogs. It’s rich in protein, calcium, and phosphorus, and includes added probiotics to aid digestion and enhance calcium absorption.

It’s important to feed them small portions frequently rather than large meals. Avoid overfeeding. Do not substitute cow's milk for goat's milk, as cow's milk contains high levels of lactose, which kittens can't digest due to a lack of necessary enzymes. This can cause diarrhea or allergic reactions.

You can also prepare easily digestible homemade foods such as millet porridge, boneless fish porridge, or minced meat porridge. Ensure these are served at a lukewarm temperature and prepared fresh. Avoid feeding leftovers as they could cause gastrointestinal upset and diarrhea.
